Mr. EDWIN CHADWICK, the Secretary to the Poor-law Commissioners, conceives
himself aggrieved by some remarks in our two criticisms on the Sanitary Reports, published on the 6th of August and the 24th of September; and he has sent us a voluminous Letter in reply. This document, consisting of thirty-two close foolscap pages, was not delivered to us till last night; when, from the pressure of many matters, it was inconvenient to read it, difficult to print it, and impossible to insert it without entirely disturbing the arrangements of the paper. It shall appear nest week.
The third and concluding paper on Medical Reform, by a Member of the Profession, is also postponed, for want of room.
