THE King, attended by Sir Herbert Taylor, came to town on Wednes- day, and held his Levee at St. James's Palace. The company was unusually thin : except the Foreign Ambassadors and the Ministers, no person of mark WaS present. After the Levee, Dr. Butler was in- troduced
ced to time King, n the Royal closet, and did homage for the see of Lichfield and Coventry. The King returned to Windsor in the afternoon.
The Duke of Sussex continues to do well; and takes frequent walks in Kensington Gardens in the dusk of the evening.
