Accounts have been received from the East, which seem to

leave no doubt as to the fact of the Pacha of Egypt having consented to conclude a peace with the Sultan. The latter, it is said, will give up Syria to his rebellious vassal. The terms, however, of the treaty, are at present mere matter of report.
