The Spectator's Schools Prizes

The Spectator is currently running two prize contests for young writers. In addition to our annual £500 competition for sixth-formers (details on page 594 of this issue), there is an additional £100 prize (donated by Mr Hugh Leggatt) for an essay on either the Victoria and Albert Museum exhibition, The Destruction of the Country House, or the Turner Bicentenary Exhibition at the Royal Academy (details on page 610).
