Ecce Wallinger
From Mrs Christopher Morgan Sir: In response to Mark Glazebrook's article (Arts, 19 October), although a giant pigeon might be a suitable memorial to Ken Livingstone's disgraceful attempt to rid Trafalgar Square of its pigeons, I cannot applaud it.
I would vote and vote again for Mark Wallinger's `Ecce Homo'. Its size and vulnerability in the company of grandiose statues of great men did seem to sum up what Christ stood for, and gave one pause to think.
