Dacia Darlingaea. By Mrs. Dambrill.Davies. (Abel Heywood and Son, Manchester.)—We

have here a series of descriptions of home life, diversified by travels by sea. These are joined together by a slender thread of story. For the most part, the author's experiences are of an ordinary kind ; but she has one very remarkable adventure in an open boat. There are a number of illustrations which will recall familiar scenes in the Isle of Wight and elsewhere.
