A GOOD EXAMPLE.

[To THE EDITOR OF THE "SPECTATOR."] SIR,—We have started military drill in the two schools of the village near here. The little Wesleyans and Church of Eng- landers drill together, the playgrounds of the two schools being used in turns. On Saturday a number of men met here to consider bow we can get the older boys and youths of the district drilled, and taught to shoot —I am, Sir, &c., Macclesfield. T. C. HORSFALL. [We offer our heartiest congratulations and best hopes that this good example will be largely followed.—En. Spectator.]
