It is said that the first act of the Chamber of Deputies will be decisive as to its opinion of the Doctrinaires—DurtN and TIIIERS will be elected President and Vice-President.

There is nothing in the shape of news, except a rumour that a body of the Queen's troops, on the road to reinforce the army of the North, had been defeated by the Carlists, within thirty miles of Madrid.
