Basildon bores

Mr Stanley Balls, Liberal candidate in the Basildon local council elections, alleges that the citizens of Basildon swop their wives for lack of entertainment in the town.

At Basildon, says Mr Balls, The husbands like to swop their wives.

The lack of entertainment palls In their uninteresting lives.

So when they have a weekend dance.

They draw for keys at twelve o'clock, And any man can take his chance With any key that fits the lock.

And in their passion for a change They'll try most anyone for fug If so, then it's extremely strange The Liberals have never won
