" featuring," as would be said in the film world, the strong silent man in iferhaps his happiest development as the upright British administrator of a native province in Africa. The scenes which pass beyond the seas are excellent examples of this style of fiction and contain well-written sporting and other adventures. There are no less than three love motives which run concurrently. It must be owned, however, that the characters arc merely typical of their species, not living human beings.
