In one letter to Mr. Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru said, " I delight in warfare. It makes me feel I am alive. I realize that most people are not warlike and like peace, and so I try hard to suppress myself and take a peaceful view." Jawaharlal Nehru was not able to be peaceful. If on the available evidence we were to rank the Congress negotiators in order of peacefulness we should place Mr. Gandhi and Pandit Motilal Nehru well above Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
