A New Pocket Dictionary of the English and Russian Languages.

By J. H. Freese. Vol. II., " English-Russian." (Kogan Paul and Co. 5s. net.)—We praised the Russian-English volume of Mr. Freese's now dictionary a few months ago, and are glad to notice the appearance of the English-Russian part, which, considering its modest size, has a very largo vocabulary and seems to include all the words that one wants in ordinary correspondence. Now that Russia has freed herself from her internal foes, it is more than ever necessary that English people should study her language and her institutions just as the Russians study ours. Mr. Freese's dictionary, intelligent., well printed, and cheap, will be of very great help to the student.
