The proper solution at the present time is surely to let the whole of the malt now in the hands of the brewers, but not yet destroyed, be used to provide us with brardstuffs. Here is a test for the Government's sincerity when they say they put the food of the people far above the interests of the Trade, or even of the veto of the Trade -Unions.
