Interpolated Aitches

SIR.—In the middle of the front page of The Times for Friday, June 8th. there is an advertisement issued by the Ministry of Labour and National Service for a Personnel Management Adviser (Male) in Scotland. It reads in part: "Candidates must have had extensive experience has Personnel Officers." It would be of much interest if it could be revealed at what stage the "aitch" was added, and the locality of its origin. I cannot believe that it came from Scotland.—Yours faithfully, King's College, University of London. JOIIN HONEYMAN.
