The motorist's problem is not really so difficult as is

often Contended. In crossing to Belfast there is no difficulty at all, though in the Irish Free State certain restrictions apply. as on the Continent. These should not, however, deter a motorist, planning a holiday of any length, from taking his car, as by becoming a temporary member of the Royal Irish Automobile Club, one can • unload ahead any difficulties which may arise. It should be remembered, too, that the main roads throughout Ireland are to-day as good as those of any country and from a scenic point of view Ireland is indeed a " motorists' paradise."
