[To tug EDITOR OP THE " SPECTATOR."] SIR,—I have received yet another note from the National War Savings Committee, and have replied that when the Government prohibit alcoholic beverages and the use of shipping and sugar for its material and manufacture, also smoking, and the publica- tion of tips for betting and gambling, I shall believe in their earnestness, and- feel justified in doing more to help on saving.
