[To the Editor of the SPECTATOR.] SIR,—As no other explanation has been offered of" N. B. D.'s " jig-saw picture, "The Grasshopper's Revenge," described in the Spectator of February 2nd, I would suggest that the picture might be an illustration from human life of La Fontaine's First Fable, "The Grasshopper and the Ant."
