FREEDOM AND ORDER

Sut,—With reference to Viscount Hinchingbrooke's happy metaphor of "the twin pillars of Freedom and Order" (The Spectator, February, znd), may I suggest that Freedom and Order are like two legs? We stand on both, but when we want to move we use each alternately. We do not stand on one leg for any length of time.—Yours fffithfully,
