It is agreeable to announce the entire disappearance of fever
from Gibraltar. This malady has swept away no fewer than two thousand persons, including five hundred soldiers. The physicians almost unanimously agree that it was epidemic. The business at the port had not been resumed ; and great distress existed among the poor.
