The Hill of David Last Sunday the Zionists paid an

impressive tribute to Mr. Lloyd George, who was Prime Minister at the time of the Balfour Declaration. He has done more than any gentile of his age to further the ideals of Zionism, and it is fitting that his name should find a premanent place in the home which he has helped to restore to the greatest nomads of history. A settlement in the Valley of Jezreel is to be known as the Kfar David Colony. In an excellent and characteristic speech at the dinner given in his honour he stripped the whole question of its un- worthy controversial trappings, and illumined its under- lying principles with oratory which did justice to a memor- able occasion. * * * *
