The hostility of the Senussi seems to be crushed. Sollum

has been occupied by General Peyton. The Bedouin who joined the rising are hungry, demoralized, and openly repentant. Some of the headmen of these tribes, who were misled by Sayed Ahmed, are begging for British pardon. The Senussi have boon forced across the frontier, and thus ends, or at all events approaches its end, one more movement engineered.. by German agents.
