Libel suits

Sir: As published in the most recent issue of the Spectator, my article `Leader among the ruins' has the sentence regarding Yas- ser Arafat stating that 'he seems oblivious to the fact that he has faced countless defeats.' What I wrote was that 'he seems oblivious to the fact that he faced more defeats than the Spectator has libel suits.' Has the Spectator faced `countless' libel suits?
