Lockwood and Jaspistos

Sir: Once again (Competition, 12 July), Jaspistos tells us that he was fired from the cast of Saraband for Dead Lovers, starring Stewart Grainger and Maggie Lockwood, for failing to control his horse. As Miss Lockwood did not appear in the film, perhaps he'd be willing to share with readers the recipe (or formula) for the euphoriant potion that induced this lack of control?
