The Belgian General Election The Belgian General Election proved that

the Belgian people, rather than try Socialism, are cOntent to let M. Jaspar'S Government continue its methods of circum- spect progress. The Catholic Party—which is part -or the Government Coalition—lost two seats, but the other Patty of the Coalition, the Liberals, gained several. The Socialist Opposition is thus appreciably weaker than it was.
