it is not creditable to the Conservatives that on a motion fur leave to introduce such a Bill as this, they should have insisted on ad- journing the debate. Every opportunity that can be devised for wasting the time of the House now receives the sanction either of a group of subordinate leaders, or, as in this case, of Sir Stafford Northcote himself. The debate was adjourned till Monday.
