GORDON HOTELS PROGRESS.

Quietly but steadily the financial position of Gordon Hotels appears to be improving, and for the past year -the report shows that the net working revenue was about £27,600 greater than- in the previous )-rear, the total being £224,429. The company has also achieved a saving of about £20,000 in connexion with the repayment at the beginning of the year of the 8 per cent. Notes. The net profit for the year was £98,548 as against £80,525 for the previous year.- The 5 per cent. dividend is maintained, although the net ecrnings were equal to about 7k per cent. A sum of about £10,000-is placed to the General Reserve, increasing that Fund to over 1260,000.
