Death at Sway - thling Court. By J. J. Connington. (Benn. 7s.

6d. net.) Though Mr. Connington does not produce so startling an effect as he did in his first book, Nordenholt's Millions, yet his present unravelling of a murder mystery is distinctly worth reading. His ingenuous little preface should not be skipped by the reader, as it will make him eager to follow the various clues provided in the course of the mystery. - It may be said that the accomplished student of detective stories will quickly suspect that two of the subsidiary characters introduced early in the book will provide a solution of, at any rate, the minor portion of the mystery.
