GEORGE 1-11 RST after making a century in his first

game for Warwickshire, W. G. Quaife came out of retirement in the late 1920s and scored—a century.

Most remarkable of all was the performance of A. E. Stoddart. He retired in 1900 and came back to the Middlesex team and scored 200 runs, the best performance of his career. —Yours faithfully,
