A CORRECTION.

[To TR1 EDITOR Of THE 41/PICCTATOR.":1 SIR,—In the review of "Parliamentary Reminiscences" in your last issue four lines are quoted from "The Deserted Village!' Macaulay pronounced this simile to be the finest in the English language, and it is a pity that the third line is so incorrect. What tioldsinith wrote was :

"Though round its breast the rolling clouds are spread."
