'NEW YORKER' IRISH

SIR,--Ready as always to spring to the aid of Mr. Brian Inglis I can tell him that my copy of the New Yorker for July 27 has its pages in order. I hope he may find a purchaser for his 'out of order' copy.

'The Drowned Man' is an eight-page story by Maeve Brennan. As Mr. Inglis should know full well, in a story by an Irish author called 'Thi Drowned Man' nobody is drowned.
