LETTERS TO THE EDITOR.

LIBERALISM IN THE SOUTH.

[To THE EDITOR OF THE " SPECIATOE."J

Bra,—Living in a very large and growing southern town, may I ask you to insert the appended letter, if you agree with me, as I think you will, on the importance of the question which it raises ? This much I know, that it represents a just and.grow- ing feeling of angry dissatisfaction, at all events in this part of the world. • The letter has been written to a member of the Ministry, and may for the rest speak for itself. Names are omitted. It may be added, however, that the writer had no intention of suggesting that leading ministers could themselves find time for attending Liberal dinners in the country during the session. He asked for their help in securing the attendance of some of those who both would and ought.—I am, Sir, ttc., PUBLIUS.
