How many actors and actresses are there P Who knows P Anyhow, the proportion is large, larger than in the British Isles outside the stage, where some thirty-eight millions have to be content with some seven hundred peerages. The names in this volume are arranged alphabetically, and one may read how old this or that favourite of the public is, and, in short, all about him or her.
