White easily the best. Speaking without a note and with deep knowledge of the practical workings of the Means Test, he made an attack on the regulations all the more effective because it was so quiet and restrained. Back benchers on the Government side when they spoke were subjected to a great deal of heckling, but they stood up to it really well.
