Ploy in Provence. By Joseph Pennell and Elizabeth Robins Pennell.

(T. Fisher Unwin.)—Mr. and Mrs. Pennell were very much pleased with the eople and the country of Provence, and express this pleasure in a way that makes their readers feel some dim reflection of it. The handsome Arlesiennes, the bull-fights (which lack the Spanish savagery), the feasting and the games, and various other delights, go to make up a pleasant picture, which pen and pencil combine in presenting to us.
