SIR,—May I draw your attention to the fact that Lord Midleton will take the chair at the Festival Dinner of the Home Teaching Society for the Blind on the 30th inst. at the Whitehall Rooms, Hotel Metropole ? The Society is much in need of funds to support the fourteen blind teachers, who visit eighteen hundred of their fellow-sufferers in and round London, and convey to them interesting books, on loan, em- bossed in Moon and Braille types.
