Messrs. W. and A. K. Johnston publish a New Comparative

Chart of Election Results (Macmillan, Is. net), which represents graphically the state of Parties. There are four concentric bands for the four countries ; in each will be found the constituencies arranged alphabetically, numbered, and coloured according to the Party of the elected Member. An alphabetical list of Members is given, .vith numbers referring to the chart. On the back is printed a full list of the new Ministry, as originally issued. —The same publishers also issue a highly speculative map of The Frontiers of Central Europe, Present and Future (1s. 6d. net), which assigns, for example, the whole left bank of the Rhine to Belgium and France and gives East Prussia to Poland. Such a map is likely to do more harm than good. It will be attributed to official inepiration, despite the footnote stating that the new frontiers " are only shown as a mattor of interest and as a basis for discussion."
