[To THE EDITOR OF THE "SPECTATOR."] Sin,—May I ask the use of your columns to thank Old Sedberghians and other friends of Sedbergh for the generous response they have, made to the appeal issued on behalf of the Bernard Wilson Memorial Fund? Up to the present the sum of £1,357 has been received. The Memorial Committee meets at the end of November, and it is hoped that the Fund will amount to .21,500 by that time. I shOnld be grateful if anyone who has delayed sending his donation, oriwho wishes to make a second donation to the Fund, would send his cheque to the Manager, Bank of Liverpool, Sedbergh. Cheques should be made payable to the Bernard Wilson Memorial Fund," and crossed ale Bank of Liverpool.—I am, Sir, &c.,

Headmaster.
