"There are still many valleys to cross and many ridges

to storm before we can see final victory," added Mr. Lloyd George. "We shall need more men, more munitions, more guns, more equipment, and we shall need all the courage and endurance of our race in every part of the world in order to convert the work which has been begun into a victory which will be final and complete. But I have no hesitation in saying that all this country and the Allies have got to do is to march together steadily, work together loyally as they have done in the past, and then victory, assured victory, will rest in their hands."
