UNDERGROUND RESULTS.

Unlike the returns of the big railways, the (livid( declared by the companies comprised in the Undergto group make an almost cheery showing. . The L.G.O. also the Electric Railway Companies have maintained dividends of the previous year, while the Parent Company declared a dividend on its ordinary share capital as stituted last year of 11- per cent. The Associated Equipm Company also had a satisfactory year and paid a dividend 8 per cent. tax free against nothing a year ago. The all reports in which the pooling of receipts is shown also exhibit a satisfactory position ; the falling Off. in traffic receipts trifling, while expenditure was down by about 280,000- a net receipts and net income increased.
