Irish message

Sir: I note that you headlined my recent letter on the constitutional position of Northern Ireland with the words Irish Mess, as you headline all (or almost all) letters dealing with Ireland.

I wish you would stop doing so. Not everything to do with Ireland is messy. The use of the words you choose, besides beinng gratuitously insulting to your correspondents, betrays the fact , that you yourselves are unable, or worse, unwilling to attempt an understanding. of what goes on in Ireland. Some aspects of Irish affairs might become clearer to you if you listened occasionally to other voices and stopped shouting so loud your own uninformed opinions. I offer the advice kindly.
