Greek Buildings Represented by Fragments in the British Museum. By

W. R. Lethaby. (B. T. Batsford. 12s. net.)—This pamphlet deals with "Diana's Temple at Ephesus," and is to be followed by one on the "Mausoleum." All that remains of these "wonders of the world" is to be found in the British Museum. The Ephesian temple had three phases. There was a small building of date unknown ; the temple which was associated with the name of Croesu.s, and belongs to the sixth century; and that which was built in the time of Alexander the Great. Mr. Lethaby discusses the conjectural restorations suggested by Mr. Ferguson and Dr. Murray, and gives his own views.
