A prize of £5, which may be divided, is offered for an old English teacher's Poem of Revolt on "doing" either" The Lady of Shalott" or A Midsummer Night's Dream for the forty-second time. Parody required.

Entries must he addressed to the Spectator. 99 Gower Street, London, W.C.1, in envelopes marked "Competition," and must be received not later than July 11th. Results will be published in the Spectator of July 20th.
