The Recorder of Merthyr Tydfil, writing with as much severity

as the mutual regard and admiration in which we hold one another (how could he not admire me?) permits, insists that the borough for which he records should be spelt like that, and not -vil, as I made it last week. All right. But I followed the sound and classic injunction, "Spell it wiv a wee, my Lord." That seems to me good advice. Merthyr Tyd. should take note. ;ANUS.
