Poachers and Poaching. By John Watson. (Chapman and Hall.)—Under this

heading Mr. Watson has collected miscel- laneous articles on birds and country rambles. There is really very little about poachers and poaching in the articles, and all that there is we have heard before, and from Mr. Watson, too. The title is most misleading, and its appropriation is a serious want of judgment.
