Some Books of the rn Week

Araorrosz children's books, reviewed in our Supplement this week, we have not mentioned Lady Erleigh's Little One's Log (Partridge's, 7s. 6d.), for it is a book for mothers. Illustrated by Mr. Ernest Shepard, and with a short preface by Dr. Pritchard, who endorses the advice -given, this is a book we strongly recommend to all who have small children. The running commentary on feeding, exercise and education is both succinct and wise ; the spaces left for details of weight, height, appearance of first curl, first tooth, first steps taken, &c., are well planned. Such a record will not only be amusing to both mother and child, it may prove of great value in after

years.
