Broadway, New York City, sends us a pamphlet on Sportsmanship, "a bridge of understanding amongst the nations of the world." The laudable idea of this society is well expressed in the preface by Dr. John Finley, the distinguished editor of the New York Times, who says that, if nations and individuals . controlled their relations towards each other in the spirit of playing the game, we should all be living in a better world.
