Fly us, Mr Hambro
From Mr Charaf-Eddine Lamriki Sir: Rupert Hambro (Diary, 20 May) wrote that there is 'only one flight a week from London to Marrakesh, and none at all by BA'.
Leaving aside the BA operation to Morocco, it is incorrect to say there is only one flight a week to Marrakesh. There are, in fact, twice-weekly non-stop flights to Marrakesh from London Stansted airport for most of the year, and year-round daily connecting services via Casablanca for pas- sengers travelling from London Heathrow, by Royal Air Maroc.
We agree that more and more people want to visit our delightful country — his description, not mine, although I concur wholeheartedly — and perhaps Mr Ham- bro would like to try our service when next visiting his new house.
