reading of the " more involved' inscription be at fault ? " MVO " is difficult, but separate the " M " from the " VO " and join the " VO " to " Lusius and the official's name becomes M. Volusius. Volusius - Is a name will occur to all who remember a certain poem Of Catullus about the Annals of Volusius.
