The London of our grandfathers was a delightful place, and
Mr. Gordon Home, in the Pictorial Presentation of London 100 years ago, makes it live again for us. Piccadilly Circus before the Circus existed, Leicester Square where Mr. Wyld's Model of the Earth was exhibited, and a score of other de- lightful pictures conjure visions of.a departed order. St. Dunstan's. in the West, with Temple Bar in the background, shows us what shadows we are, what creatures of a moment before the things we put up and pull down, themselves almost as impermanent as we in the sight of Eternity.
