SIR,—I do not follow Colonel Mozley's distinction between Christian dogma

and Christian ethics. Christian ethics must mean the rules for conduct laid down by Christ, summed up in the Commandments to love God and love our neighbour. How are people to obey the first if they have no view of the nature of God? And is not the Christian view of the nature of God a Christian dogma?
